This sampler was worked on 40 count Double Pearled Barley from Lakeside Linens using one strand of Belle Soie from Crescent Colours. Cross stitch is used throughout.
The center heart, the one enclosed by a rectangle on the chart, was omitted from our sampler and a lock of hair was attached in its place. Be creative with your sampler and attach a charm, a button, a lock of hair or another personal momento. You may also want to change the names to reflect those of your family or friends. Stitch count is 254 wide by 240 high. 14/28 count is 17.5 X 17.25, 16/32 count is 15.25 X 15, 18/36 count 13.5 X 13.25, 20/40 count 12.25 X 12. DMC floss needed to complete the pattern is as follows 433, 3012, Ecru, 869, 3799, 648, 838, 840, 3021, 844, and 632.
